Nfl Most Receiving Yards 2017
Is there any wide receiver in the NFL more popular than Antonio Brown? The Pittsburgh Steelers scooped him up in the sixth round back in 2010, and Brown has already made the Pro Bowl five times. He even racked up the most receiving yards in the league three years ago. Oh, and Brown returns punts, too: He scored four of his 55 career touchdowns this way.
At press time, Brown is tied with Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons at +400 to win this year’s receiving title, just ahead of New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. at +500. But none of these gentlemen is the reigning champion. T.Y. Hilton led the league in receiving yards last year for the Indianapolis Colts, and he’s a distant fourth on the NFL props market at +1200, tied with Mike Evans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This is what playing for the Colts will do to your profile. Brown is one of several star players on the tremendously popular Steelers offense, forming a Big Three with QB Ben Roethlisberger and RB Le’Veon Bell. Brown has also played in nine postseason contests, reaching the AFC Championship Game twice – including last year’s game against the New England Patriots.
Jones also has immense starpower playing for the Falcons; he’s arguably a bigger star than QB Matt Ryan, and he overtook Brown for the receiving title in 2015 before missing a pair of games and finishing second to Hilton last year. On a per game basis, Jones led the league at 100.6 yards per game. And of course, he went all the way to Super Bowl LI before the Patriots spoiled the party.
Hilton Head
Hilton, meanwhile, is playing in the long shadow of Colts QB Andrew Luck. Three straight Pro Bowls have helped raise awareness, but Indianapolis finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs each of the past two seasons. And there’s always concern about Luck’s health these days. Does he have enough juice left in his throwing arm to be a truly elite quarterback and help Hilton retain his title?
Then you have Evans, who toils in relative obscurity in Tampa while QB Jameis Winston collects the limited amount of attention showered on their team. Evans made his first Pro Bowl last year, and Winston will be entering Year Three in the NFL, with a pair of 4,000-yard seasons already under his belt. If their career arc continues, the Buccaneers should make the playoffs for the first time since the 2007 campaign – and Evans could ride this wave all the way to the receiving title.
